Full-Day CPD: boys and young men
Working Therapeutically with Boys and Young Men
Masculinity, Shame, Anger and Emotional Development
Five learning hours, with breaks additional · £595 individual fee · Booking opens soon
Understanding a pattern is one thing; deciding how to respond when several difficulties meet is another. Full-Day gives you time to bring the course themes together, consider complex situations and reflect on your professional judgement.
Time to connect the learning
Explore masculinity as varied and meaningful, with room for strength, care, courage and responsibility. Compassion and curiosity sit alongside clear attention to harm, coercion, boundaries and safety.
The practitioner workbook supports teaching, reflection and the exploration of practice examples. There is time to question an initial interpretation, explore alternatives and identify what you want to take back into your work.
The six areas of learning
• Positive masculinity, safety and professional stance.
• Masculinity, identity and belonging.
• Shame, anger and emotional expression.
• Relationships, boundaries and relational responsibility.
• Online influence, digital culture and masculinity.
• Integration, professional judgement and next steps.
Who it is for
Therapists, counsellors and practitioners in youth, pastoral and wellbeing roles who want more time for application and complexity. You can join Full-Day directly; Intro and Core are not prerequisites.
Fee and progression credit
Receive a £195 progression credit after Core, bringing the £595 Full-Day fee to £400. Complete Intro, Core and Full-Day for a total investment of £595 and gain 8.5 CPD learning hours, excluding breaks. The planned 30-minute Taster is additional learning, with its fee included in that total when you follow the full sequence. You can also join Full-Day directly for £595.
How our progression credits work
